A presente invenção refere-se a um revestimento de tinta epóxi solúvel em água, em que a adição de nanopartículas de óxido de nióbio permitiu o desenvolvimento de um revestimento com alto desempenho anticorrosivo, aplicado em baixa espessura de filme e em única demão. O presente revestimento de tinta é utilizado para aplicação em substratos metálicos, com foco em autopeças de veículos em geral, preferencialmente discos de freio, blocos de tambores e tambores de freio.
