MÉTODO DE ISOLAR UM OBJETO.Método de isolamento de um objeto, tal como um tubo para transporte de petróleo bruto ou gás natural, compreendendo: prover um fluido isolante compreendendo um fluido base e um agente viscosificante, em que o agente viscosificante compreende dióxido de silício. O fluido de base é opcionalmente um fluido base não aquoso. O método compreende ainda as etapas de adicionar o fluido isolante a um recipiente; e colocar o objeto no recipiente. Preferencialmente, o objeto que se encontra isolado está localizado de forma remota ou submarina.
