Isto melhora a migração do agente antimicrobiano e permite que o curativo apresente uma concentração global mais elevada de agente antimicrobiano por todo o curativo. Isto ajudará os médicos no tratamento de feridas, reduzindo a carga microbiana no leito da ferida, reduzindo, assim, o risco de infecção da ferida.
