Abstract
SISTEMA DE DISSOLUÇÃO DE MINÉRIO E CONVERSÃO DE FERRO. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos e sistemas para dissolver um minério contendo ferro. Por exemplo, um método de processamento e dissolução de um minério contendo ferro compreende: reduzir termicamente um ou mais materiais de óxido de ferro não magnetita no minério contendo ferro para formar magnetita na presença de um redutor, formando assim minério termicamente reduzido; e dissolver pelo menos uma porção do minério termicamente reduzido usando um ácido para formar uma solução ácida de sal de ferro; em que a solução ácida de sal de ferro compreende prótons gerados eletroquimicamente em uma célula eletroquímica.
