SOLUÇÕES E MÉTODOS PARA ARMAZENAMENTO DE PÓLEN DE LONGA DURAÇÃO.A presente invenção refere-se a soluções e métodos para armazenamento e liberação de pólen para uma parte reprodutiva feminina de uma planta receptora. A solução de armazenamento de pólen proporcionada inclui um soluto que mantém a tonicidade da solução de armazenamento de pólen em uma concentração entre cerca de 0,5 M e cerca de 3,0 M e um crioprotetor. Os métodos proporcionados incluem armazenar a solução de armazenamento de pólen e aplicar o pólen armazenado na solução de armazenamento de pólen a no mínimo uma primeira parte reprodutiva feminina de uma planta receptora, deste modo polinizando a parte reprodutiva feminina com o pólen armazenado da planta doadora.
