É fornecido um dispositivo de fornecimento de aerossol não combustível (100) para gerar um aerossol a partir de material gerador de aerossol contido em um consumível. O dispositivo compreende um receptáculo (102) para receber um consumível compreendendo material gerador de aerossol; e um adaptador (1402, 206) para ser recebido no receptáculo, em que o adaptador é configurado para adaptar o receptáculo para receber, um de cada vez, cada um de uma pluralidade de consumíveis (300, 302) com tamanhos diferentes.
