A presente invenção refere-se a novos peptídeos de fusão antimicrobianos; composições farmacêuticas compreendendo os peptídeos e seu uso para tratamento ou prevenção de infecção bacteriana provocada por C. acnes. Os peptídeos da presente invenção são não hemolíticos, apresentam citotoxicidade reduzida in vitro em relação a outros peptídeos antimicrobianos, o que os torna úteis em aplicações farmacêuticas, de saúde, dispositivos médicos, alimentos e cuidados pessoais.
