Abstract
COMPOSTOS E MÉTODOS PARA TRATAR MALÁRIA. A presente invenção está relacionada ao desenvolvimento de compostos e métodos para o tratamento e/ou prevenção da malária. Os compostos impedem a formação pelo parasita da malária do canal aniônico de superfície do plasmódio (PSAC) na superfície da célula hospedeira. Os compostos e métodos descritos aqui são eficazes contra a infecção por uma ampla variedade de cepas de Plasmodia conhecidas como o agente causador da malária.
