Abstract
PROCESSO QUE FORNECE RENDIMENTO DE ÓLEO-BASE MELHORADO. É fornecido um processo para preparar um óleo-base a partir de uma matéria-prima de hidrocarboneto ceroso. O processo compreende passar a matéria-prima de hidrocarboneto para uma coluna de destilação antes da desparafinação a fim de recuperar um corte de parafina pesada. A parafina pesada é, então, hidrocraqueada em compostos com ponto de ebulição mais baixo que podem ser mais bem isomerizados em um óleo-base com um ponto de névoa aceitável. O rendimento de óleo-base é também aumentado.
