Abstract
MATERIAIS HEMOSTÁTICOS EM PÓ, SECOS E REATIVOS COMPREENDENDO UMA PROTEÍNA E UM AGENTE DE RETICULAÇÃO À BASE DE POLIETILENOGLICOL MODIFICADO MULTIFUNCIONALIZADO. São descritos composições e métodos relacionados a hemostáticos em pó que reticulam durante e/ou depois da aplicação a um local de sangramento. As composições podem compreender um primeiro componente compreendendo uma composição polimérica multifuncionalizada (por exemplo, polietilenoglicol multifuncionalizado) funcionalizada com grupos eletrofílicos reativos, e um segundo componente que compreende uma proteína, como albumina. As composições podem, em certas aplicações, atuar como hemostáticos quando aplicadas na forma de pó seco a um ferimento sangrento, portanto, o primeiro componente e o segundo componente da composição se reticulam para formar um hidrogel.
