A presente invenção apresenta um suporte de implante (102) para reter e controlar a liberação do implante do cateter de entrega (100). O suporte de implante (102) está disposto na seção distal do cateter de entrega (100). O suporte de implante (102) engata o implante no estado retraído para restringir o deslocamento axial e radial do implante. O suporte de implante (102) inclui recursos invariantes específicos em termos da parte de liberação (124) e bloco empurrador (112) de design exclusivo que são adaptados para acomodar e desengatar exclusivamente o implante do cateter fornecido.
