São revelados métodos para tratar um câncer (tal como, por exemplo, leucemia mieloide aguda) compreendendo administrar a um indivíduo (tal como, por exemplo, um indivíduo que adquiriu resistência a uma terapia compreendendo pelo menos um agente antineoplásico e/ou pelo menos um agente hipometilante) pelo menos um antagonista de E-selectina, em que o indivíduo é administrado ainda com pelo menos um agente antineoplásico (tal como, por exemplo, venetoclax) e/ou pelo menos um agente hipometilante.
