Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE INJEÇÃO SUPRACOROIDAL. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho (900) que inclui um corpo e uma cabeça (930). A cabeça define um reservatório de fluido. A cabeça (930) inclui uma face distal (932) e uma agulha (960). A face distal (932) é configurada para engatar uma superfície externa do olho de um paciente em uma região anterior do olho do paciente. A agulha (960) é configurada para se estender distalmente a partir da face distal (932). A agulha (960) tem um comprimento suficiente para se estender através de uma camada de esclera do olho do paciente e assim posicionar pelo menos uma porção de uma ponta distal (962) da agulha (960) em um espaço supracoroidal do olho do paciente em uma região anterior do olho do paciente. A agulha (960) está em comunicação fluida com o reservatório de fluido, de modo que a agulha (960) pode ser operada para fornecer fluido do reservatório de fluido para o espaço supracoroidal do olho do paciente.
