A invenção refere-se a métodos para o isolamento de linfócitos não hematopoiéticos residentes no tecido, particularmente células T ¿d. Tais células T ¿d incluem células não Vd2, por exemplo, células Vd1, Vd3 e Vd5 e tais tecidos não hematopoiéticos incluem pele e intestino. Será apreciado que tais linfócitos não hematopoiéticos residentes no tecido isolados encontram grande utilidade em terapias de células T adotivas, terapias de receptores quiméricos e semelhantes.
