Abstract
DISPOSITIVO TERMINAL EXTERNO EQUIPADO COM UM MANGUITO DE CRESCIMENTO DE TECIDO. Um dispositivo terminal externo possui um invólucro (4), incluindo uma base (5), na qual é formada uma abertura distal (12) que recebe um septo em forma de funil (14) possuindo um tronco de tubo (140). Dentro do tronco de tubo (140) o cateter (3) é conectado à seção distal (16) do encaixe (15). Um revestimento tubular (2) apresenta uma extremidade proximal adaptada para ser enxertada no tronco de tubo (140) e uma extremidade distal aderindo coaxialmente ao cateter (3). Um par de bandas (90, 91) de material de crescimento de tecido é fixado no revestimento tubular (2), e um anel de ancoragem (92), equipado com os meios de ancoragem, é ensanduichado entre as bandas (90, 91).
