A presente revelação se refere, em parte, a sistemas de comunicação não terrestre, e em algumas modalidades à integração de sistemas de comunicação terrestre e não-terrestre. Sistemas de comunicação não terrestre podem fornecer um sistema de comunicação mais flexível com alcance de cobertura sem fio estendida e qualidade de serviço aprimorada comparada a sistemas de comunicação convencionais.
