A presente invenção refere-se a novos compostos de heteroaril-triazol e heteroaril-tetrazol da fórmula geral (I), em que os elementos estruturais R1, R2, R3, R4 e R5 têm os signficados dados no ralatório descritivo, a formulações e composições compreendendo tais compostos e ao seu uso no controle de pragas de animais incluindo artrópodes e insetos na proteção de planta e ao seu uso para o controle de ectoparasitas em animais.
