FORMULAÇÕES TÓPICAS DE ACICLOVIR E USOS DAS MESMAS.A presente invenção refere-se a formulações de gel de aciclovir com uma baixa concentração de aciclovir, que podem ser usadas, por exemplo, para o tratamento de herpes labial recorrente (feridas na boca) em adultos imunocompetentes e adolescentes de 12 anos de idade ou mais. A formulação de gel pode ser uma formulação de gel aquoso, uma formulação de gel emulsificado ou uma formulação de gel não aquoso.
