Uma composição de matéria representada pela seguinte fórmula: em que R1 é uma cadeia de hidrocarboneto insaturada ou ramificada, R2 é um átomo de hidrogênio ou uma cadeia de hidrocarboneto, e m e n são, independentemente, de 1 a 5, quando utilizada em uma composição lubrificante, sendo eficaz para a redução do atrito e do desgaste, ao mesmo tempo proporcionando proteção melhorada contra a corrosão do cobre e do chumbo em um motor.
