Abstract
RUPTURA DE BIOFILME LEVANDO À DESTRUIÇÃO MICROBIANA. Um método de tratamento de biofilme com uma membrana de substância polimérica extracelular protetora (extracellular polymeric substance, EPS) ligada a uma superfície aplica dióxido de cloro ao biofilme ligado a uma superfície para romper a membrana de EPS do biofilme, expondo assim os micróbios no biofilme ao ataque de microbicida e extermínio sem separar o biofilme da superfície.
