Abstract
MEIOS PARA PROTEGER ANÁLOGO DE HIDRÓXI DE METIONINA CONTRA A DEGRADAÇÃO RUMINAL.A presente invenção refere-se a análogos de hidróxi de metionina quimicamente modificados que são protegidos da degradação por micro-organismos ruminais. Os compostos quimicamente modificados compreendem o análogo de hidróxi de metionina quimicamente ligado a um ácido graxo com pelo menos 12 átomos de carbono. Métodos para aumentar o desvio no rúmen de análogo de hidróxi de metionina e/ou fornecer análogo de hidróxi de metionina ao intestino delgado de um ruminante para absorção, em que os métodos compreendem administrar ao ruminante um análogo de hidróxi de metionina quimicamente modificado, conforme definido acima.
