Abstract

ESTRUTURA PROTÉTICA BIOFUNCIONALIZADA COM ARQUITETURA DE NÚCLEO-INVÓLUCRO PARA REPARAÇÃO TOTAL OU PARCIAL DE TENDÕES OU LIGAMENTOS HUMANOS.A presente invenção se refere a uma estrutura fibrosa biofuncionalizada com uma arquitetura de núcleo/invólucro para reparação parcial ou total de tendões ou ligamentos humanos. A arquitetura baseada em um sistema de núcleo/invólucro confere à estrutura fibrosa um comportamento físico e mecânico específico quando esta sofre carga mecânica de forma repetida, como acontece com um tendão ou ligamento nativo em uso constante no corpo humano. O núcleo se baseia em vários subcomponentes, nomeadamente estruturas entrançadas montadas paralelamente, as quais são envoltas por um invólucro entrançado. Além disso, uma biofuncionalização seletiva das duas partes da estrutura núcleo/invólucro pode ser aplicada a fim de melhorar seletivamente ou evitar a adesão de células in vivo.
