Abstract
VÁLVULA CARDÍACA PROTÉTICA. A presente invenção se refere a uma válvula cardíaca protética (10) para suportar ou substituir uma válvula cardíaca nativa não funcional ou com mau funcionamento, a válvula cardíaca protética (10) compreendendo um suporte de stent expansível geralmente tubular (12), tendo uma superfície interna (16) e uma superfície externa (17) e compreendendo um elemento de válvula (20), tendo uma superfície externa (21), uma superfície interna (22) e compreendendo uma pluralidade de elementos de vedação (30), em que os elementos de vedação (30) são - espaçados uns dos outros - circunferencialmente fixados à superfície externa (21) do elemento de válvula (20) e formam um elemento em forma de lábio (31) projetando-se radialmente a partir da superfície externa (21) do elemento de válvula (20), em que o elemento de válvula é montado na superfície interna (16) do suporte de stent (12).
