COMPOSIÇÕES BIOFLAVONOIDES E SEU USO.A presente invenção diz respeito às composições farmacêuticas e seu uso na higiene bucal. Mais particularmente, as composições compreendem um ou mais flavonoides, como naringina e neohesperidina e polilise e/ou ácido caprílico e/ou um sal de zinco. Tais composições podem ser na forma de, por exemplo, uma solução, gel, spray, goma de mascar ou pasta adequada para uso na cavidade oral. A composição pode ser utilizada na redução de números bacterianos em dentes, gengivas ou outras superfícies na cavidade oral.
