ISÔMEROS ROTOMÉRICOS DE 4-ALQUIL-5-HETEROARIL-3H-1,2-DITIOL-3-TIONAS.A presente invenção refere-se a, dentre outras coisas, isômeros rotoméricos de 4-alquil-5-heteroaril-3H-1,2-ditiol-3-tionas, complexos de tais isômeros nos quais uma forma rotomérica individual é obtida por estabilização e composições compreendendo um excesso de um rotômero individual (um excesso rotomérico) como um complexo estabilizado. A divulgação também se refere a métodos de fazer e usar: tais rotômeros e complexos, incluindo métodos para tratar um paciente humano ou animal com tais rotômeros ou complexos dos mesmos, por exemplo, para prevenir, tratar ou reduzir os sintomas de vários distúrbios, tal como mucosite e/ou fornecer proteção contra dano oxidativo em vários órgãos e tecidos para uma finalidade médica.
