Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a métodos para melhorar doenças neurodegenerativas com agentes de modulação de CCR3. Os métodos incluem administrar uma quantidade terapeuticamente eficaz do agente de modulação de CCR3 ao indivíduo, com uma melhora concomitante na função cognitiva, motora ou outra função neurodegenerativa afetada. Doenças cognitivas e motoras nas quais os métodos da invenção podem melhorar a cognição incluem mal de Alzheimer, mal de Parkinson, demência frontotemporal, doença de Huntington, esclerose lateral amiotrófica, esclerose múltipla, glaucoma, distrofia miotônica, demência vascular, paralisia supranuclear progressiva.
