Abstract
São divulgadas moléculas de RNA de fita dupla (dsRNA) que são tóxicas para as pragas de insetos coleópteros e/ou hemípteros. Em particular, são proporcionadas moléculas de RNA de interferência capazes de interferir com genes alvos de insetos praga e que são tóxicas para a praga de insetos alvo. Adicionalmente, são divulgados métodos de preparação e uso do RNA de interferência, por exemplo em plantas transgênicas, ou como o ingrediente ativo em uma composição inseticida, para conferir proteção contra danos causados por insetos.
