PACKER DE POÇO E MÉTODO PARA FORMAR UMA VEDAÇÃO EM UM FURO DE POÇO. Um método para formar uma vedação em um furo de poço que inclui posicionar um packer intumescente que compreende um elemento de vedação de metal intumescente no furo de poço; em que uma camada porosa é disposta em torno do elemento de vedação de metal intumescente. O método também inclui expor o elemento de vedação de metal intumescente a um fluido de fundo de poço; permitir ou fazer permitir que o elemento de vedação de metal intumescente produza partículas; e acumular as partículas dentro de um primeiro anular formado entre a camada porosa e o tubular.
