Abstract
COMPOSIÇÕES E MÉTODOS PARA MITIGAR A INFESTAÇÃO DE PESTES. dsRNA para prevenir, mitigar e/ou tratar a infestação de uma planta com bicudo-vermelho-das-palmeiras (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus), o dsRNA compreendendo uma sequência de polinucleotídeos que é cerca de 85% a cerca de 100% complementar a um segmento de um gene alvo do bicudo-vermelho-das-palmeiras, em que a ingestão do polinucleotídeo do dsRNA pelo bicudo-vermelho-das-palmeiras resulta em mortalidade e/ou retardo de crescimento do mesmo.
