Abstract
A presente divulgação é direcionada a um artigo de fumo que compreende um suporte e um cartucho removível. O cartucho é configurado para ser recebido em uma extremidade de recepção do suporte e compreende uma fonte de calor configurada para gerar calor, e uma porção de substrato incluindo um material de substrato tendo uma composição precursora de aerossol associada ao mesmo. O suporte também inclui um mecanismo de ejeção configurado para mover o cartucho em relação ao suporte entre uma posição recebida e uma posição ejetada. Em uma implementação, o mecanismo de ejeção compreende um pino impulsor, um anel guia, uma luva de transportador e uma mola, em que o cartucho é configurado para ser recebido na luva de transportador, e em que o pino impulsor é configurado para se mover em relação ao anel guia de modo a acionar a luva de transportador alternadamente entre a posição recebida e a posição ejetada.
