Um conjunto de tampa, adaptado para fazer parte de um recipiente de distribuição, inclui um flange de circuito fechado e uma tampa é unida e gira em torno do flange por meio de uma dobradiça. Uma mola é unida ao flange na primeira e na segunda extremidades. O flange, a mola, a tampa e um botão de abertura podem ser formados em conjunto. Em uma posição fechada, a tampa é empilhada acima do flange em uma dimensão de altura. A mola forma um arco convexo cuja convexidade se estende para longe do flange na dimensão da altura quando a tampa está na posição aberta. A mola pode ser curvilínea e ter dois, três, quatro ou mais pontos de inflexão, como em forma de m ou w.
