O elemento absorvente contém pelo menos uma camada que inclui partículas superabsorventes contendo uma rede porosa que inclui uma pluralidade de nanoporos tendo uma dimensão transversal média de cerca de 10 a cerca de 500 nanômetros, em que as partículas superabsorventes exibem um Tempo de Vórtice de cerca de 80 segundos ou menos e uma permeabilidade de leito de gel de intumescência livre (GBP) de 5 darcys ou mais, de 10 darcys ou mais, de 60 darcys ou mais, ou de 90 darcys ou mais.
