Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição nutricional compreendendo um oligossacarídeo de leite humano (OLH) que tem um efeito sobre um mamífero para melhorar, acentuar, promover ou modular uma função serotoninérgica no SNC, de preferência em um bebê humano ou uma criança pequena, seja prematuro ou nascido a termo, entre o nascimento e os 7 anos de idade. A composição pode ser uma fórmula para bebês. O OLH pode ser 2FL, diFL e/ou LNT e/ou LNnT ou combinações dos mesmos.
