Abstract
PROCESSO PARA RECUPERAÇÃO DE TERRAS RARAS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a precipitação de sulfato de terra rara, o método incluindo submeter uma solução bruta de sulfato de terra rara à precipitação na presença de um composto orgânico, volátil, solúvel em água para produzir um precipitado de sulfato de terra rara e um sobrenadante ácido. O composto orgânico é selecionado preferivelmente do grupo que consiste em metanol, etanol, isopropanol, terc-butanol, acetona e suas misturas e é preferivelmente metanol. Preferivelmente, o composto orgânico é usado na precipitação em uma proporção em peso entre 0,25:1 para 1,5:1 e preferivelmente 0,5 a 1,25:1, com a solução bruta de sulfato.
