Abstract
Trata-se de um sistema que inclui uma cobertura de estoma e um aplicador para aplicar uma cobertura de estoma para cobrir temporariamente um estoma durante a troca de um aparelho de ostomia. A cobertura de estoma tem um elemento semelhante a coifa com uma porção de extremidade proximal e uma porção de extremidade distal, em que a porção de extremidade proximal do elemento semelhante a coifa é configurada para ser ajustável para possibilitar que uma entrada de estoma da cobertura de estoma seja de tamanho variável, que pode ser manipulada com o uso do aplicador. Trata-se, também, de uma cobertura de estoma e um kit de peças.
