Abstract
A presente invenção propõe métodos para tratar pacientes com câncer com deficiência em ao menos um gene não BRCA1/2 envolvido na via de reparo por recombinação homóloga (HRR) usando um inibidor da poli(ADP-ribose) polimerase (PARP), tal como niraparibe. Em particular, pacientes com câncer com deficiência em ao menos um gene selecionado dentre o grupo composto por BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, ATR, BAP1, BARD1, BLM, BRIP1, MRE11A, NBN, PALB2, RAD51, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, RAD52, RAD54L, XRCC2, TP53 ou RB1 podem se beneficiar do tratamento com niraparibe.
