Abstract
Elementos de indício são adicionados aos componentes de telecomu-nicações para identificar a fonte do componente de telecomunicações. Os elementos de indício podem incluir pelo menos um dentre um logo-tipo, uma cor específica (por exemplo, uma cor diferente de uma cor base não indicativa do componente de telecomunicações), informação de texto, um código de barra, um código QR e um indicador de RFID. Os elementos de indício podem auxiliar na identificação ou rastrea-mento de conexões de rede, identificando os tipos de conectores e/ou cabos, rotulando as conexões de rede e identificando um operador de rede em um ambiente de múltiplas redes.
