Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para suportar e conectar um órgão excisado, tal como um coração, um par de pulmões, um rim ou um fígado) durante uma perfusão ex vivo. O dispositivo inclui uma chapa resiliente e flexível que possui uma primeira porção para contatar e suportar o órgão sobre si, e uma segunda porção que compreende uma abertura para formar uma conexão entre o órgão e um conduto de modo a permitir uma comunicação fluida entre o conduto e o órgão. O dispositivo também inclui um material magnético incorporado à segunda porção da chapa para manter de forma magnética a conexão entre o conduto e o órgão.
