Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a derivados de pirimidina de fórmula (I), opcionalmente com um isótopo detectável, composição farmacêutica e método de preparação desses. Derivados de pirimidina para uso no tratamento ou prevenção de infecção bacteriana em um mamífero hospedeiro necessitado de tal tratamento ou prevenção e uso como inibidores da formação de biofilme sobre uma superfície de biomaterial ou dispositivo médico, particularmente de um dispositivo cardiovascular tal como válvulas cardíacas protéticas ou marcapassos. Derivados de pirimidina para uso como radiomarcador no diagnóstico ou prognóstico de infecção bacteriana em um mamífero hospedeiro.
