Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um shunt intraocular implantado que pode ser manualmente manipulado, sem intervenção cirúrgica, para modificar a resistência do fluxo do shunt, assim fornecendo alívio de alta pressão intraocular enquanto evita hipotonia. Por exemplo, através da aplicação de pressão ao longo de uma superfície do olho, uma porção do shunt pode ser deslocada ou separada com relação ao shunt, assim reduzindo uma resistência do fluxo do shunt.
