Além disso, a presente invenção refere-se a um uso de um material de revestimento para produzir um revestimento antimicrobiano (10, 10', 10'', 10''', 10'''') sobre uma superfície de um substrato (12), com o revestimento (10, 10', 10'', 10''', 10'''') compreendendo pelo menos um óxido metálico e/ou pelo menos um sal metálico.
