Abstract
A presente invenção abrange uma composição de aminoácidos para estimular a síntese de proteínas musculares. Ademais, a presente divulgação se refere em geral ao uso de uma composição de aminoácidos anabólicos para a simulação de síntese de proteína muscular. Em particular, são divulgados composições e métodos de uso da mesma para a prevenção e/ou tratamento de uma perda de qualquer um dentre massa muscular, força muscular, função muscular e função física ou uma combinação deste, em um mamífero, especialmente um mamífero adulto. Também são fornecidos kits que compreendem uma composição para simulação de síntese de proteína muscular e, em certas modalidades, instruções para administração.
