Trata-se de um modificador de reologia hidrofobicamente modificado que compreende: (a) de 1 a 20% em peso de unidades polimerizadas de H2C=C(R)C(O)O(CH2CH2O)n(CH(R')CH2O)mR; (b) de 35 a 75% em peso de unidades polimerizadas de C1-C4 (met)acrilatos de alquila; e (c) de 20 a 60% em peso de unidades polimerizadas de C3-C6 monômeros de ácido carboxílico;em que R é H ou CH3, R' é metila ou etila; R é C29-C60 alquila; n é um número médio de 20 a 100 e m é um número médio de 0 a 50, desde que n=m.
