Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a composições farmacêuticas que tem uma mistura de pelo menos um agente ativo, uma resina de troca iônica, um aglutinante e um material da matriz, de tal modo que a composição, quando administrada a um paciente com sua necessidade, supri o paciente com um efeito terapêutico durante pelo menos cerca de 8 horas, e métodos relacionados. Também são aqui divulgadas composições farmacêuticas tendo uma mistura de um fármaco suscetível a abuso, um analgésico não opioide e uma resina de troca iônica, a composição inclui ainda pelo menos um agente de gelação e métodos relacionados.
