Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se às composições e métodos de inibição da quinase p38 para reduzir a expressão genética e proteica do DUX4 e genes a jusante regulados pelo DUX4. A presente invenção refere-se ainda a métodos de tratamento de pacientes que sofrem de doenças associadas com a expressão aumentada do DUX4 ou a expressão de uma forma aberrante do DUX4, como a distrofia muscular Fascio-escápulo-Umeral (FSHD).
