Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um método para preparar um extrato botânico de ácido abscísico. O extrato de ácido abscísico é obtido a partir de materiais vegetais que contêm ácido abscísico com bons rendimentos. A presente invenção também se refere ao extrato que pode ser obtido de acordo com o dito método, a um extrato botânico purificado de ácido abscísico, a uma composição que contém o dito extrato, à sua utilização em uma composição nutricional, farmacêutica ou cosmética, e ao dito extrato para uso como um medicamento.
