Também são reveladosno presente documento métodos para controlar vegetação indesejável quecompreendem aplicar à vegetação ou a uma área adjacente à vegetação ouaplicar ao solo ou água para impedir a emergência ou crescimento devegetação (a) um herbicida de ácido piridina carboxílico ou um N-óxido, salou éster agricolamente aceitável do mesmo e (b) um inibidor de fitoenodessaturase (PDS), um inibidor de síntese de ácido graxo de cadeia muitolonga (VLCFA), ou uma mistura dos mesmos, em que (a) e (b) são, cada um,adicionados em uma quantidade suficiente para fornecer um efeito herbicida
