Abstract
A presente invenção fornece composições de tinta e revestimento à base de água que têm um alto teor de resina renovável. As composições de tinta e revestimento da invenção compreendem uma quantidade igual a ou maior do que 65% (p/p) de resinas renováveis, com base no peso combinado total das resinas. As resinas renováveis derivadas de gomas colofônia são preferenciais. As composições de tinta e revestimento da presente invenção exibem propriedades físicas (por exemplo, adesão e resistência) que são tão boas quanto ou melhores do que tintas atuais disponíveis comercialmente (por exemplo, tintas à base de acrílico que não contêm material renovável).
