É fornecido um artigo absorvente compreendendo um elemento absorvente posicionado entre uma camada de folha superior e uma camada de folha inferior. O elemento absorvente contém pelo menos uma camada que compreende partículas superabsorventes porosas, em que as partículas exibem um microclima de umidade relativa de cerca de 67% ou menos após serem expostas a uma atmosfera com uma temperatura de cerca de 23°C e umidade relativa de 80% por um período de 20 minutos.
