Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a um composto de ácido do trato gástrico (GTA) tendo a estrutura de fórmula I, bem como sais, ésteres, pró-fármacos, ou derivados marcados dos mesmos. Tais compostos podem ser usados para determinar os níveis de GTA em uma amostra, para diagnosticar um paciente como tendo ou estando em risco de desenvolver câncer colorretal, ou para gerar anticorpos. São descritos anticorpos, ou fragmentos dos mesmos, que se ligam especificamente ao GTA de fórmula I, bem como usos de tais anticorpos ou fragmentos para determinar os níveis de GTA em uma amostra, ou para diagnosticar um paciente como tendo ou estando em risco de desenvolver câncer colorretal. Também são fornecidos kits compreendendo tais compostos de GTA e/ou anticorpos. (fórmula I)
